Mr. David Kam is the principal solicitor at David Kam & Co Solicitors with more than thirty-five years of experience and wide-ranging legal expertise. He regularly acts for clients in the Supreme Court of New South Wales (both in the original and appellate jurisdiction), Tribunals, and Federal Courts with particular expertise in commercial and property litigation. During this time, he has received appreciation and recognition from many clients for his exceptional legal acumen and commercial approach.
David Kam is regularly sought after to assist foreign investors from China, Hong Kong, and the countries from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region looking to acquire an interest in an Australian business, company, or assets due to his expertise in inbound investments requiring Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) approvals.
John graduated with a Juris Doctor in law from the University of Technology Sydney and a Master of Construction Project Management from the University of New South Wales. He advocates ‘principled negotiation' as taught by the Harvard Law School's Project on Negotiation.

Before studying law John was a project manager. John draws upon his experience working on local and international, institutional, commercial and residential projects. He advises clients on appropriate procurement strategies for new build, refurbishment fit-out work or developments. This includes identifying the right form of contract and selecting the appropriate professional design and consultant team.
John advises clients at project inception to help them identify and manage key contract risks. Identifying and minimising project risks in the early stages ensures that projects are delivered, on-time and on-budget. He negotiates for his clients to remove or reduce those risks.

Sai Kai NG (SK) is a Hong Kong practicing lawyer and holds a registration certificate to practice foreign laws in NSW.
SK has extensive exposure in land law, conveyancing and real estate practices in Hong Kong. He has been doing conveyancing work in Hong Kong since 1990 before he admitted to the role of the solicitors in The High Court of Hong Kong in 2005. He also has substantive experience in personal injuries litigation and advised clients in family law, Wills and probate matters.
SK worked in leading real estate practice law firms in Hong Kong and in the government. He joined the Real Estate Department of Deacons, one of the Hong Kong largest law firms, in 2007, and later joined Baker & McKenzie, Hong Kong office, in 2010, handling high profile real estate transactions, real estate M&A, strata sales and REITs. He joined the Hong Kong Land Registry in 2013 as a senior contract solicitor and became a solicitor of the Unified Solicitor Grade of the Hong Kong Official Receiver’s Office in 2017 and posted to the Hong Kong Land Registry until 2020.
SK arrived Sydney in early 2021 to pursue his new career and joined David Kam & Co. in mid 2021.
SK advised on Hong Kong laws relating to land law, real estate transactions, Wills and probate, commercial laws, etc. He also assisted the team in conveyancing transactions, tenancy matters and commercial matters.
Zulekha Sakrani is a dual qualified lawyer with considerable experience in litigation as a private practitioner as well as an in-house counsel. She started practicing law in Pakistan in 2013 and has since worked on a variety of matters. Her experience includes a range of areas including property and commercial law, aviation law, dispute resolution, family law and immigration law.
She has over 4 years of experience in Pakistan where she acted for clients on a wide range of complicated matters including banking disputes, litigation related to property settlements and provided corporate advisory services on a variety of corporate and commercial matters. Her experience includes working as an in-house counsel for the second national carrier of Pakistan where her work revolved around liaising with national and international entities.
At David Kam and Co Solicitors, Zulekha primarily focuses on commercial litigation, debt recovery, family and migration matters as well as strata related property matters. She has experience in representing clients in matters before the Supreme Court of New South Wales and Supreme Court of Queensland. She has also been certified by the Migration Institute of Australia for completing the Immigration Essentials for Lawyers Program.
Zulekha likes to build strong relationships with her clients and believes in helping them achieve outcomes in the most efficient manner. For this reason, she considers each matter in-depth before pursuing any legal action and presents her clients with information that allows them to understand nature of their case including its strengths and weaknesses at the outset.
Elliana Feng is a lawyer certified in both China and Australia. She holds legal qualifications from both countries by obtaining a bachelor’s degree in international Economic Law and a Master’s degree in International Criminal Law from China. Professionally, she has handled diverse legal cases in China, covering fraud, state compensation, civil disputes, and commercial matters. Her commitment to the legal field continued with her completion of a Juris Doctor degree at UNSW.
Upon graduation, Elliana Feng was admitted as a solicitor by the Supreme Court of New South Wales. In Australia, she focused on a variety of property transactions, contributed significantly to Foreign Investment Review Board applications, and conducted detailed legal research to support client decisions. Her expertise extends to commercial and family areas by drafting shareholder agreements for new enterprises and establishing legal frameworks for their operations and governance. Additionally, she also assists clients in formulating their Binding Financial Agreements, which clarify and protect parties’ financial interests in various contexts.
